Italian Sausages over Rice

Cooking time :15 minutes
Ingredients List:
- Italian sausages
- 1 t. white rice
- 1 1/2 t. chicken broth
- 3 diced peppers
- 1/2 t. tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper
Serving Instructions:
1. In a large saucepan, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Sear the sausage rings from 1 to 2 minutes.
2. Add the rice, the chicken broth, the peppers, the tomato sauce, the red onion and, if desired, the parsley. Pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
3. Cover and cook for 15 to 18 minutes over low heat, until the rice is cooked.
